Novell NetWare is a client/server suite for sharing files that existed prior to SMB and Active Directory.
Netware 5.1 SP8 works perfectly across MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT, and Windows XP.
These are the client versions I use:
MS-DOS / Win3x Client - 2.71e (dw271e.zip) released 10/12/1998
Windows 95/98/ME - 3.4 (34clt95e.exe) released 31/07/2003
Windows XP - 4.91 SP5 IR2 (Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows IR2.exe) released 27/07/2013
